Does Scoopy take bookings?
No, we currently do not take bookings. We are a purely walk-in restaurant.
Do you seat large groups?
The largest table we have is currently 12 people. Any group larger than 12 people will not be guaranteed table seating together.
Ideally, we can only fit large groups when we are not in strict density limit restrictions.
Do you have a waitlist?
Yes, we maintain a digital waitlist during busy periods. If you arrive during a busy period our host will help you onto our waitlist. Please be aware that there may be a line to be put on the waitlist.
Do I have to wait in a line or near Scoopy while waiting for a table?
No, once you are on the wait list you are free to wait wherever is most convenient for you. We will text you once a table is free for you and your group. Please be aware that we will only hold the table for 5 minutes once we have sent out the ‘table is ready’ text. If you do not confirm that you are returning to take your reservation, then your table may be forfeited to another group.
What are my options if I do not want to wait for a table inside?
We offer takeaway options (small, regular, friends and home packs) for those who want to have bingsu on the go.
Can I bring in my outside food?
No, please do not bring in any food or drink from outside. We may make exceptions for celebratory food i.e. small cakes or pastries. Please note that we do not have any candles in-store.
What is the difference between a home pack bingsu and a takeaway bingsu?
Take-home bingsu is for when you want to enjoy bingsu at home and want it in packaging that will last the commute home (up to an hour). Takeaway bingsu is for when you don't want to dine in with us and it is recommended that it is consumed within 15 minutes of receiving your order.
Where do I wait for my takeaway/home pack bingsu?
Please wait near the pick up window for your takeaway bingsu. We will either call your name out the window or send you a notification to let you know that your order is ready at the window.
I ordered takeaway, can I sit inside to eat it?
No, once you order takeaway you forfeit your place in the waitlist or digital line (if you are in it) and acknowledge your choice to eat outside. We have to prioritise those who choose to eat bingsu inside and/or hold tables free for these diners.
Can I store my home pack to eat later?
Yes, you can store your bingsu container in the freezer and toppings in the fridge. Please note that tapioca pearl toppings should be eaten on the night you received your order.
What is the difference between the takeaway sizes?
The small size is 300ml, the regular size is 450ml and the friend size is 600ml.
What delivery platforms can I order Scoopy from?
We are on Uber Eats, Deliveroo, DoorDash and Easi. If you can see our store on your app then we are able to deliver to you.
Are you able to take my takeaway order over the phone?
Yes we can. However, we prefer if you were to order directly via our online ordering system at Mr Yum.
Can I customise the toppings on my bingsu for no additional charge?
No, if you would like additional or different toppings on your bingsu you will need to purchase these for an additional charge. You can ask for toppings to be removed for no additional charge.
Is there a vegetarian bingsu alternative at Scoopy?
Most of our bingsu are vegetarian. We can customise any bingsu to be Vegetarian. Please ask one of our staff to help you when placing your order.
Is there a vegan bingsu alternative for me at Scoopy?
Yes, there is a dairy free flavour available. Our Lychee Bloom is made from oat milk and does not contain any dairy.
Is there a Halal bingsu alternative for me at Scoopy?
Yes, we can customise any bingsu to be Halal. Please note that we are not Halal certified by ICCV (Islamic Coordinating Council of Victoria). Please ask one of our staff to help you when placing your order.
Is there a dairy-free bingsu alternative for me at Scoopy?
Yes, we have a new vegan bingsu that is dairy-free. Our Lychee Bloom is made from oat milk.
Is there a gluten-free alternative for me at Scoopy?
Yes, we can customise any bingsu to be gluten-free. Please ask one of our staff to help you when placing your order.

No, we are small business that is run by a group of close friends and at this stage do not have any plans to entertain future franchising opportunities.
