Hoji Yama is the 8th official flavour to be added into Scoopy's dine-in menu roster. The creativity of the name refers to the roasted tea 'Hojicha' and Yama meaning mountain in Japanese, a perfect name to describe the mountain appearance of our bingsus!

Hoji Yama is a unique and special flavour in itself not just for it's flavour profile, but for also the time period it was released in the Scoopy flavour eco system. This was during the time of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 where Victoria would currently be in it's first lockdown out of six. This didn't stop the surge of orders we've received from our customers with the excitement grew strong over our new marketing approach.

If you look closely at our Hoji Yama Character you can see that he holds a grumpy expression. We choose this specifically to reflect the feelings of all Victorians when we we're trapped in our second lockdown. We we're not happy Dan (but we wanted to somehow make light of a hard situation).
