Not long after finding a new home in Brick Lane Cafe, we had another opportunity to be one of the few dessert stalls at Melbourne's largest summer food event - Night Noodle Market 2019. This would be another great way to continue to get our brand out there. Without the capacity to run both locations at one time however, we decided to focus solely on this event.

We wanted to bring something brand new to the market so we developed 2 new flavours of bingsu (Sunny Mango - Scoopy's rendition of Mango Sticky Rice in a bingsu and Midnight Delight - Black Sesame with Korean rice cakes (injeomli), red bean and fresh lychee) and also offered 2 flavours of mochi donuts (Ube and Pandan).

Being an outdoor event we had some new challenges to overcome in the form of mother nature herself. In the opening days it was raining non stop and throughout the event we had to fight the high temperatures to make sure our bingsu didn't melt! Despite these challenges, seeing people come out in record numbers to either try Scoopy for the first time or try our new offerings filled our team with a huge sense of gratitude.

All in all the event was a success and we had big plans to make an even bigger impact at the next Night Noodle Market. What just didn't know that we wouldn't be able to do another night market for the next two years.
