Instagram was our main marketing tool as we began our small business. From agonizing over the perfect post, trying to make our exciting stories or cold messaging influencers, we saw our business grow from instagram.

From 1k, to 2k, to 5k and now over 10k as we hit each milestone we knew that were doing something right. We hit 10,000 followers in between the reopening and concurrent second lockdown. At that time we could not do much to celebrate unfortunately but we we're extremely grateful that our little business had gathered enough attention to have 10,000 special people want to follow us. As things happen in 2020, just as we found something to celebrate the stage 3 lockdown was looming over us and on the day we hit 10k, Daniel Andrews suited up (that's when you know he means business and is the bringer of bad news) to let Melbourne know that we would be heading into Stage 4 Lockdown. We couldn't believe we could be locked down any harder, but he sure surprised us. We had a brief celebration internally and then went back to keeping our business alive during these difficult times.
